Hank Melse Stables
Hank Melse Stables is located on the ‘Den Ekelerhorst’ country estate in the picturesque little place of Winterswijk in the Netherlands since 1984. In the beautiful country side Hank Melse and his wife Nicole have all the facilities for a successful trading and jumping stable. Together with their experienced staff, among whom international rider Remco Been, they are dedicated to find what you are looking for.
The majority of the horses we sold, are competing on shows in their new home countries. Several horses won championships for 5-, 6- and 7-year-old horses all over the world. A number of horses won important international Grand Prix’s and a few of them competed at world championships and at the Olympic Games.
Our accommodation consists an indoor arena, 33 stables, an outside arena with fountain grounds, a large jumping lawn, a long line ring, paddocks, several pastures, wash and grooming areas and a solarium.

Our Horse Offer
We always have a large selection of high quality show jumpers for sale. These horses are trained daily and regularly showen in contests. We have recent videos of each horse, which you can view on our website.
If you are interested in our horses, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
If so desired, we can arrange your stay in a hotel nearby, but you are also more than welcome in our special guest rooms. We will be happy to invite you to our stables, in order for you to try our horses.
When you have found your ideal horse, we can arrange the testing as well as the transportation if you require so. All our horses are tested clinically and on X-rays.
We also have a lot of export experience within Europe and abroad. All the horses we sell can be delivered at your doorstep anywhere in the world.
